Report: Assad and Iranian FM discuss 'Zionist threats'

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki discussed "threats posed by the Zionist regime" in a meeting with Syrian President Bashar Assad on Wednesday, according to Iranian news agency Fars.

According to Mottaki, Iran, Syria and Lebanon are "constantly exchanging views about Israel's war threats, and...the Islamic Republic will offer any assistance to Lebanon and Syria."

The two reportedly discussed strategic ties between their countries in both security and economics.
