Bahrain will investigate "financial investments, commercial and economic activity" by the Lebanese Shi'ite movement Hezbollah, AFP reported.

Bahrain's interior minister on Wednesday ordered a probe into "operations that masquerade as charities, bank accounts, money transfers and individual members of the organization to take the required legal procedures," AFP quoted Shaikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa as saying.

Bahrain labeled Hezbollah a terrorist organization last month.
