Report: Body of 'neutralized' Hebron attacker returned to family home

The body of a Palestinian assailant who was shot and killed by an IDF soldier after being "neutralized" following a controversial event in Hebron this March was returned to his family's home in the West Bank, Palestinian media sources reported Friday.
Sgt. Elor Azaria was arrested and charged with manslaughter shortly after the March 24 incident following the shooting death of a terror suspect as he laid wounded on the ground following an attack on nearby soldiers.
A funeral for the attacker, Abdel Fattah al-Sharif, is expected to be held tomorrow in Hebron.
The shooting was picked up on a video distributed by B’Tselem, going  viral online and dominating the airwaves with a war of words over Azaria’s guilt or innocence.
If convicted by the military court, Azaria, 19, could face a lengthy years-long jail sentence.
