Report: Egypt on high terror alert in Sinai for 9/11

Egyptian authorities were in a state of increased preparedness on Saturday amidst fears of terror attacks in the Sinai peninsula on the ninth anniversary of 9/11, according to the Palestinian news agency Ma'an.

According to the report, Egyptian security officials are on high alert against attacks which would come in response to Florida pastor Terry Jones plans to burn copies of the Koran on the anniversary of the destruction of New York City's World Trade Center.
