Report: Egypt to extend Rafah opening for humanitarian needs

Sources in the Palestinian Authority Interior Ministry said that Egypt decided to extend the opening of the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported on Wednesday. Egypt temporarily opened the crossing on Saturday for sick people and pregnant women in need of Egyptian medical care. The source added that some 3,000 travelers on the Egyptian side are waiting to cross into Gaza.
