An Egyptian man was arrested by the Egyptian government on Saturday, for allegedly working with the Mossad since 2011, Al-Ahram Arabic news reported.
According to the report, the man filed an intelligence complaint in 2012, that the Mossad was trying to recruit him. Egyptian officials believed this complaint to be a cover story used to throw off suspicion of his espionage.
The man is being held for 15 days as he awaits a trial.
