Report: El Al plane may have suffered from fracture in body

The technical fault which caused El Al flight 027 to make an emergency landing at Ben Gurion Airport early Monday morning was potentially caused by a fracture in the plane's body, Channel 10 News reported.

According to the report, the Boeing 777 which is only 10-years-old may have suffered previous damage which later caused the landing gear to malfunction.

As a result of the incident, experts from Boeing are expected to arrive in Israel to investigate the malfunction.
