A general strike ordered by the Histadrut for Wednesday will be avoided, Channel 2 reported on Tuesday.Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon met with Histadrut Chairman Avi Nisenkorn in the former's office in Tel Aviv.The strike would shut down airports, banks and all government offices, in protest over what the Histadrut says is state inaction over construction site deaths.
