Germany is interested in buying Israeli-made drones that they consider to be more advanced than US ones, German weekly Der Spiegel reported on its website on Sunday.

Germany's Defense Ministry had already conducted two meetings with IDF officials, in November 2012 and February 2013, and its Air Force commander Lt.-Gen. Karl Muellner was reportedly in Israel to attend a presentation of the Heron TP drone, Spiegel reported.
