Hamas has instructed Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip to refrain from firing rockets at Israel, even if the attacks are intended as a response to the recent clashes between security forces and Palestinians in Jerusalem, the London-based A-Sharq al Awsat reported on Tuesday. According to the report, Hamas security forces arrested and interrogated several gunmen, mostly Islamic Jihad operatives, who had planned to launch rockets at Israel, and confiscated the projectiles.
