Hamas has reportedly deployed hundreds of forces along the border fence with Israel to allegedly deter escalations of violence in the South and prevent further rocket fire from Gaza into southern Israel, according to Israel Radio.

In light of the recent slew of rocket fire on Israel, the ruling organization in the Gaza Strip has pointed toward rogue elements as responsible for the attacks.

Meanwhile, Egypt has been exerting third-party mediation efforts between Israel and Hamas to prevent further escalation of violence, according to the report.
