Hamas on Saturday detained two members of an Islamist movement suspected of firing rockets into Israel, AFP reported quoting a source close to Hamas.

The source said the detainees, who belong to the Salafist-Islamist group "Al-Tawfid wal Jihad" were nabbed in Gaza City by Hamas security forces who accused them of being behind a recent spate of rocket attacks on Israel.

On Friday, the IAF struck five targets in the Gaza Strip, following several strikes earlier Thursday, which came in retaliation to the rocket attacks coming from Gaza.
