Palestinians in the Gaza Strip claimed on Sunday that Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian worker who was collecting stone aggregates near the Erez crossing in the northern part of the Strip, Ma'an news agency reported.

Security officials instructed the Palestinian side to close the terminal, locals said, according to the report

An IDF spokesman said soldiers confirmed shooting one person who approached the border, Ma'an reported.
