An army jeep traveling near the village of Al Arub southwest of Bethlehem came under a Molotov cocktail attack on Wednesday. The jeep was struck by several Molotov cocktails, an army spokeswoman said.

Soldiers exited the vehicle and opened fire on the Molotov cocktail throwers resulting in a number of injuries. Shortly afterwards, Palestinian medical sources reported that one woman was killed in the incident.

The IDF is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
