Report: Islamic jihad severs ties with Hamas over death

The Islamic Jihad announced Sunday that it was temporarily suspending ties with Hamas, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.

According to Israel Radio, the movement has accused the Gaza leaders of being responsible for the death of one of the group's members.

Ma'an reported Raed Qassim Jundeyeih died on Sunday after being shot the day earlier by Hamas police officers.
