The Israel Land Authority (ILA) destroyed 1500 dumans of grain crops on land claimed by a Beduin family near the city of Rahat in the Negev, Israel Radio reported on Tuesday.

The ILA says that the family trespassed, and that it rejected an offer to lease the land from the state.

Three people were arrested for attempting to stop the destruction of the crop.
