Israeli air force jets struck suspected Hezbollah and Syrian army weapons caches in Syria before dawn on Monday, the pan-Arab television station Al Jazeera is reporting.

The attack took place in the al-Qalamoun region just north of Damascus, according to Al Jazeera.

The report indicated that the attack did result in deaths and injuries, though the exact number is not known.
