Israel informed the Palestinian Authority on Wednesday that it will reopen the Kerem Shalom crossing with Gaza, according to reports by semi-official Palestinian news agency Ma'an.

Israel declared the Kerem Shalom crossing closed to traffic two days ago due to the ongoing events relating to the kidnapping of three yeshivah students by Hamas in the West Bank.

Fears have been raised the at the terrorists may try to smuggle the boys into Gaza.
