Report: Lebanon asks UN to review Blue Line

UN envoy to Lebanon Michael Williams reportedly said that the UN will review Beirut's request to discuss a retreat from the border with Israel, known as the Blue Line, Israel Radio reported Friday morning.

According to the report, in an interview with London-based Arab newspaper, Al-Hayat, Williams added that he is impressed with the efforts to diminish tensions following the border clashes between Israel and Lebanon.Williams reportedly added that Lebanon stressed its commitment to the Blue Line.
