Report: Manhunt ends for Holon murder suspect after police discover body

A fugitive murder suspect was found dead Sunday morning after police initiated a manhunt 24 hours earlier, according to Channel 2.

Alfonso Azarya, 63, was accused of killing his 57-year-old neighbor at his apartment in the Tel Aviv suburb of Holon.

After tracking his cellphone, police made their way to Azarya’s apartment on Har Hatzofim Street, where they kicked down the door and found the victim stabbed to death.

Police did not not disclose how the murder suspect had died. Details are expected to emerge shortly.
