Khaled Mashaal was reelected political chief of Hamas on Sunday by the terrorist group's Shura council according to Palestinian news agency Ma'an and BBC in Arabic.

However,  according to Israel Radio other Arabic news outlets reported that the Hamas council was only meeting on Monday and a political chief had not yet been chosen.
