A tornado emergency was declared for parts of the hard-hit Oklahoma City suburb of Moore on Friday after storm spotters sighted a confirmed twister heading toward the area, the National Weather Service said.

It said an emergency had been declared for North Moore and nearby Valley Brook. The new emergency came 10 days after a massive tornado struck Moore on May 20 and killed 24 people.
