Report: Netanyahu says Oman allowed El Al to utilize its airspace

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the sultan of Oman, Qaboos bin Said al Said, will allow El Al to utilize the country's airspace, shortening flight times to India.

Netanyahu spoke at a conference of diplomats hosted by the Foreign Ministry on Monday.

"Our diplomatic map has changed in dramatic fashion due to the diplomatic efforts undertaken by Israel," Netanyahu said, according to ynet.

Netanyahu made a surprise visit to Oman in late October, signaling then Israel would warm ties with Arab countries.
