Palestinian security forces feared that violent protests would erupt on Friday as the funerals were slated for two young Palestinian men who were killed on Thursday during Nakba Day riots, Israel Radio Reported.

According to the report, the Palestinian security forces were also worried that worshipers would engage in clashes with IDF forces after Friday morning prayers.

The Palestinian Authority proclaimed Friday a day of mourning in part to allow broad participation in the funerals of two young men who were killed near Ramallah.
