Report: PM, Lapid agreed to cut Defense Ministry budget

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid have agreed to cut the defense budget in order to reduce the large deficit, Channel 2 reported Sunday evening.

According to the report, following a few days of meeting over the issue, the two agreed to also cut the budget for transportation projects and benefits, particularly for children.
