Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid have agreed to cut the defense budget in order to reduce the large deficit, Channel 2 reported Sunday evening.According to the report, following a few days of meeting over the issue, the two agreed to also cut the budget for transportation projects and benefits, particularly for children.
