'Many' Palestinians attempted to cross the border fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel on Friday, Israeli media reported. As a result, the IDF moved to using live ammunition, Walla! reports. Reports also indicate evasive gunfire was heard in the northern Gaza Strip. The IDF has yet to comment on the reports.
