BEIRUT - The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Tuesday Russian war planes had resumed air strikes on Syria's rebel-held Idlib province after a 22-day break.

Russia supports Syrian President Bashar Assad, whose military has been carrying out air strikes and shelling during that period, the Observatory said.
