A Russian MiG-29K fighter jet crashed in the Mediterranean Ocean after taking off from a Russian aircraft carrier on its way to Syria, Fox News reported Monday. The pilot was picked up by a Russia rescue helicopter and his status remains unclear, Fox News reported US intelligence officials saying.
