According to an Emirati official, there were six more - and still unidentified - people involved with the team that killed Hamas operative Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in a Dubai hotel room last month, the New York Times reported Tuesday.

If true, the additional six would bring the total number of people involved with the supposed killing team to 17, according to Dubai.

The official was also reported as saying that the passports held by the alleged assassins were used for a period of months in Europe and Asia prior to al-Mabhouh's death.
