An 80-year-old on Friday was killed after a jeep ran her over in Rishon Lezion.

Her 80-year-old husband was also injured in the incident.

MDA paramedics pronounced the woman's death at the scene, and took her husband to Assaf Harofeh Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

Police were investigation the circumstances of the accident.
