Rivlin: PM could go to elections without fear

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin told US Ambassador Daniel Shapiro on Tuesday that a bump in Prime Minister Netanyahu's popularity means he could dissolve the government coalition and "go to elections without fear."
In the aftermath of the enormously popular deal to bring Gilad Schalit home from captivity, said Rivlin, ending the current government may not seem as attractive to other political parties as it might have several months ago.
"It is quite possible that the Knesset will open its fifth session in October 2012," Rivlin said.
