Rivlin inaugurates new Governor of the Bank of Israel Amir Yaron

At a ceremony inaugurating the new Bank of Israel chief, President Reuven Rivlin pointed out the socio-economic gap's as the incoming governor's main challenge.
"It is no secret that the social gaps in Israel are among the highest in the OECD," Rivlin said in his speech.
The median Israeli men and women "work hard, and still, between their wages and the cost of living, they have too little left."
"Our challenge is to invest in the middle," Rivlin said, adding "Our greatest task, and we can do it, is to make sure that no Israeli is left behind."
