Rivlin to Bolton: 'Thank you for everything you have done for us'

President Reuven Rivlin met on Tuesday with US National Security Advisor, John R. Bolton, during his visit to Israel.

"I am pleased to have a great friend of the State of Israel and the people of Israel today," said the president to Bolton. "I want to thank you for everything you have done so far for Israel and we know you will do more."

The president stressed the importance of the US withdrawal from the Iran nuclear agreement and said that it created a "unique window of opportunity for exerting economic pressure on Iran to effectively limit its nuclear capabilities and expand our supervision as well as limit their regional influence."
