Police closed major roads in the capital on Friday morning ahead of the 5th annual Jerusalem Marathon.
The streets are set to reopen around 2:00 p.m. once runners complete the race, which is expected to draw some 25,000 participants.
Over 800 police officers spread out across the city in preparation for the sports event.
