Sirens sounded in the Gaza border communities in the regional councils of Sdot Negev and Shaar Hanegev, IDF Spokesperson Unit reported.

Residents claimed to have heard a couple of explosions in the area. Two rockets were reported to have been launched from the Gaza Strip. One fell in an open field outside Sdot Negev.



Residents were asked to stay in the shelters.

The IDF reported that the event is under investigation.
