Rocket alert sirens sounded in several southern Israeli communities near the border with the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning. It was not immediately clear if a projectile had landed in Israeli territory after sirens were activated in the Ashkelon Beach Regional Council and the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council.
