One rocket was fired at Israel from within the Gaza Strip on Friday night, IDF spokesperson reported.
In a press release by the Eshkol Regional Council reported that Red Alert sirens had been heard in two local communities and that the Iron Dome missile defense system was activated in response.
One rocket landed in an open field, causing no damage. Another rocket landed within the Gaza Strip and did not reach Israel itself.
