Ronel Fisher reveled to be the lawyer in police bribery scandal

Attorney Ronel Fisher was revealed to be the lawyer who has been arrested on suspicion of passing information on to Ashdod Port union head Alon Hassan in exchange for bribes.

The gag order on his identity was removed on Sunday afternoon.

Fisher has represented a number of high level police officers. He stands accused of tipping off Hassan about the case against him and the raid at the Ashdod port shortly before it took place. The attorney is also suspected of being involved in a number of other cases where investigative information he received from his police officer clients was handed down in exchange for bribes.
