Southbound lanes on Route 2 (The Coastal Highway) were closed Tuesday morning after a vehicle rolled off a moving tow truck and flipped over in the road.

The Ayalon Freeway was also affected by the incident, and southbound lanes were closed at the Glilot Interchange.

Transit authorities were working to remove the vehicle from the freeway, and recommended commuters plan to take alternate routes.
