MOSCOW - Russia's Defense Ministry said on Friday that the Syrian army had withdrawn arms from the Castello Road near the city of Aleppo, while Syrian opposition forces backed by the United States had not done the same, Russian news agencies reported.

The Syrian opposition violated the ceasefire 39 times in the last 24 hours, the agencies quoted the ministry as saying.
