Russian ship sinks after collision, all personnel evacuated

ISTANBUL  - A Russian ship which collided on Thursday with a Togo-flagged livestock vessel has sunk, Turkey's coastal safety authority said. It said all 78 personnel had been evacuated from the ship.

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim called his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev to express his sadness over the collision off Turkey's Black Sea coast, Turkish prime ministry sources said on Thursday.
