After the security cameras at Temple Mount were removed Thursday morning, the Wakf is set to meet and hold a press conference to announce their decisions about the latest developments in Jerusalem and whether Al-Aksa (Temple Mount) compound will be opened today for prayers or not.

Israeli Police stated that the security at Temple Mount has been returned to the pre-July 14 attack conditions, as a direct result of the Security Cabinet's decision.

Hundreds of Muslims gathered by Lion's Gate on Thursday morning in celebration of the removal of metal detectors and security cameras at Temple Mount.
