Senate confirms S.Carolina Gov. Haley as US Ambassador to UN

WASHINGTON, Jan 24 - The US Senate voted overwhelmingly on Tuesday to confirm South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley as Ambassador to the United Nations on Tuesday, adding another member to President Donald Trump's national security team.

As voting continued, 71 senators backed Haley and only one opposed her.
