Senior cabinet member: Trump decision to withdraw from Syria is a mistake

Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon said that US President Trump's decision to remove American forces from Syria was a mistake.

"Israel must not allow Iranian consolidation in Syria," he said in an interview with Army Radio on Thursday "we will work at almost any price to prevent this."

The Finance Minister also commented on the recommendations of bribery charges against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming that his party Kulanu will not be able to continue to serve in Netanyahu's office if he is indicted.
