Several people were killed and wounded in the northern Yemen town of Saada on Wednesday when a suicide bomber riding a motorbike blew himself up in a busy market, a defense ministry statement said.
No further details were immediately available on the incident. Saada, near the Saudi border and about 130 km (80 mile) north of the capital Sanaa, has been under the control of Shi'ite Houthi rebels for several years.
