Shaked: High Court striking down Jewish Nation State law ends democracy

Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, on Tuesday at a conference of the Bar Association in Tel Aviv said that if High Court strikes down Jewish Nation State law it will have ended Israeli democracy.

A delegation of MKs including Joint List leader Ayman Odeh and MKs Masoud Ghanayem, Jamal Zahalka, Ahmad Tibi, Aida Touma-Suleiman, Yousef Jabareen and Talab Abu Arar and Jafar Farah arrived in Brussels on Tuesday to meet with EU Foreign Policy Chief Frederica Mogherini and to ask for the European Union to condemn Israel for passing the Jewish Nation-State Law.
