Major-General Muti Aloz, head of the IDF Manpower Directorate, said on Wednesday that there had been a sharp decline in IDF sucides in 2018, Hadashut News reported. 43 IDF soldiers died while in service in 2018, 8 died in action, 2 due to accidents, 14 in traffic accidents, 10 due to medical reasons and 8 due to suspected suicide. 'This is the lowest figure in the last five years,' Almoz said.
