Jerusalem City Council representative Shmuel Yitzhaki of Shas warned that the party would pull out of the municipality coalition should Mayor Nir Barkat not order the closure of the Carta parking lot on Saturdays, telling Israel Radio that the "directives of [Shas spiritual leader] Rabbi Ovadia Yosef are clear." Shas representatives are due to meet Barkat on Tuesday to discuss the issue.
