Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef on Saturday evening attacked Bayit Yehudi (Jewish home) as a "house for goyim" that religious Jews should not vote for.

Speaking during his weekly sermon, Yosef said that Bayit Yehudi wanted to "uproot the Torah, have civil marriages and public transportation on Shabbat. What kind of religious are these. They should not be called religious and they should not be voted for."

Yosef was briefly hospitalized last week after suffering a minor stroke.
