The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced Salomon Shemchayev onSunday to 10.5 years in prison for the attempted murder of a man outside a TelAviv nightclub in September 2010.
The sentence was given after Shemchayev confessed and wasconvicted in a plea bargain.
According to the ruling, Shemchayev shot the man in the headfrom short range with full intention of killing him, but the man’s life wassaved by doctors who managed to remove the bullet from his skull.
